There are other treatments wherein the insurer only pays upto a certain amount. Any additional amount has to be paid by you to the clinic directly. No, the insurer will not cover pre-existing conditions. Teeth with pre-existing conditions are excluded from the insurance cover.

Before you buy an OroGlee Delight/ Joy Plan a dental screening is done. Pre-existing conditions are identified during this screening and notified to you and the insurer.

Yes. That is how it has been designed. The dental screening is free. Based on the screening report you will be informed about the pre-existing conditions and the cover that will be provided by the insurer. Only if you find it of value you can buy the plan.
